Did any of you ever make a time line plane when you were younger? Did you pick an age you would get married? When you would have children, etc? Well I did; married at 23, first child at 25. I am now 28 years old and guess what? I am not married and have no children and no where ready!

How do you know when you are ready for marriage? Really what is marriage? Your husband or wife can still cheat on you, leave you and hurt you the same as when you were a couple.

The dating world has become way more complicated with texting, online dating, speed dating and more! Why is there so much pressure on relationships? Why is it when you are dating everyone asks are you in love? Are you getting married? I mean can’t we just enjoy whatever we are in? Then once you get married the questions change to are you happy? When are you going to have kids? It never ends…

Relationships can be so hard but so great at different times. I have written about all of the good times and bad times I have encountered during my relationships. Feel free to share yours.

Great quotes and thoughts, but I disagree with you on the marriage entries.
Marriage is not broken, we (humans) are.
We jump into bed way before the right time, use sex to cover up each other issues/problems and flaws. And to make things worse, we force someone into marriage just because we want to, and spend the next several years (which could also be months) trying to change that person into someone we think is perfect – WRONG
We’re changing on a daily basis, and so is our perspective of the ‘perfect’ person. So, how can a relationship actually survive under so much pressure?
And no, this is not an excuse for those looser that cheat

Thank you for writing to me. It is so hard to express ourselves and I am glad that you have found Spanish to be your outlet. The sentence you wrote “spend so much time caught up in everything else, and are afraid to express our love and our pain..” really grabbed me. It is so accurate that I had to read a few times. Why do you think that is? Are we raised this way? You really got me thinking over here! Please keep coming back and I love comments!

i just saw your website and i just wanted to say how awesome i think it is that you created this. i´m sure it´s gonna help you through your difficult times, and i know it can help us. i think we don´t talk enough about love and life in a real way, and this seems like an awesome way to get us talking. in the end, love is everything, but we spend so much time caught up in everything else, and are afraid to express our love and our pain… i learned to speak spanish and it has opened up a new way of talking and thinking for me, because sometimes i feel like in spanish it´s more easy to talk about feelings. but it´s still hard for me in english, cuz sometimes these things get left out of the conversation. so thank you for doing this! and i wish you all the best, and that you always have lots and lots of love in your life. i know you will!
